Cracking Gemma

Wow! I have new followers. Welcome all! I am super excited that my number is growing and I have been thinking of heading in the giveaway direction. Still working on that idea though. I hope everyone enjoys the blog because I love doing it and I am always open to ideas and suggestions :)

I think this Saturday volunteering thing is going to take a minute to get used to! I decided that on the  weekends when my son is with his dad I will head over to the kennel and volunteer. I was there for about 4 hours today and I AM BEAT! Assisted in bathing then walking three dogs. Walked another 3 or 4. Watched and learned about the day to day activities. It was a lot of fun but I crashed for a nap as soon as I got home from lunch lol. I am going to have to work my posts before I go over there lol.

Since I wasn't sure what I would be doing or how it would affect my mani I decided to try out the P2 Cracking polish Silver Blast. I don't have a bottle picture yet (still working on all the pictures from that box) but I will post it at a later time.

I LOVE this polish! It looks very similar to the swatches of OPI Silver Shatter. It applied really well and crackled really quickly. I love how much it crackled too.

It dries matte but a top coat makes it super shiny and though you can't see it in the pictures it is shimmery too.

It actually held up pretty well throughout the day. I don't have any chips at all yet and usually when I add crackle to a mani it is chipped by now. I can't attribute that to the P2 polish but it didn't go unnoticed. It is a lot thinner than the crackles and shatter seem to be which may be why.

This is Honey. We gave her a bath today and she promptly went out into the yard and rolled around in the sand. It was a good day because one of the dogs is in the process of being adopted.

I must apologize for the shortness of this post. I honestly didn't think I would be so tired today. I feel like a camel because I can not get enough water either lol. I have been trying to figure out what to do for my Easter mani but haven't come up with anything yet. I guess I better figure it out pretty soon though. Off to shower...

That's all for now :)

  2. Thanks! Now I wonder if I should have tried the gold crackle on Gemma. hmmm. I will probably have lots of doggie pics in the future since I will be hanging out with them so much. They are so cute!
