Happy Halloween!

Hey Everyone!!! Happy Halloween!!! I hope everyone had a safe, fun Halloween. We didn't do anything special at all. We are actually all hanging around watching wrestling. The Muppets are on which is AWESOME because I love the Muppets. The bf is so funny, he didn't know about the new Muppets movie until it was advertised tonight on wrestling. He says WE HAVE TO GO SEE THAT!!!! Yes, sometimes he is  five.

I didn't have enough time to do ALL of the Halloween manis I wanted to do this year so for today I had an assortment of nails so I could get most of them in. Most of these were inspired by other bloggers and nail board members but forgive me if I don't know where they all came from. I will say Chalkboard Nails and Nails N Riffs were two of the blogs I went to last night to look at the designs so I could get them right. I didn't do a great job but over all they were pretty cute. The girl at the store this morning liked them.

The Mummy was supposed to be facing the same way as Frankenstein but dummy me put the mummy upside down.

See the fingers were supposed to alternate. Since the Frankenstein looked better facing that way and the owl worked better facing this way I wanted to at least alternate. Oh well.

My thumb didn't cooperate much. I didn't bother cleaning up and I apologize for that. I wasn't going to show you but at the last minute I decided to. The polish wasn't dry enough and I used too much water.

Yeah, um, bad. My right hand isn't too good. Just pretend to look.

The bf said owls were not very Halloween. I should have kicked him. I liked the owls.

The other disaster of a thumb.

That's all for now :)

Some Halloween Manis

Hey Everyone!! HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!

This is a quickie to show you some of my recent Halloween manis. I am actually writing this Sunday night and scheduling it for Monday Morning. None of these are my actual Halloween nails though. :)

CANDY CORN!!!! I bought three bags of candy corn because my son ate the first bag before I could do my nails. I got the second two because they were on sale lol. I did these in the car so they are not as crisp as I would have liked but they were still cute.

I really liked them and topped them with China Glaze Ghoulish Glow so they were Glow in the Dark which is even better.

These were some Glow in the Dark Ghosts. I know I did this design before but I needed something quick that night. I kept these on for two days because I had a last minute chocolate order and it kept me up really late and unable to change my polish. If I posted these already smack me upside the head because I have forgotten.

It is getting late and I am rushing so please forgive me. I will have a better post for you later :)

This was one of the Fantasy Makers Tombstones in Black Magic. Two coats.

It is prettier in person than these pictures show.

Once again sorry about the cleanup, it was a quick polish job. It has been a crazy few days but things are settling back down so I should be back on track.

That's all for now :)

Birthday Stuff

Hey Everyone!!! I thought I would share my birthday pictures with you all :) There are lots of them so I better get started lol.

My birthday cake made by the bf and my mom. She found the Cat in the Hat stuff with some candles that were probably from my son's birthday years ago lol.

My son made me a card. I am VARY colorful he says lol He is a cutie

Bruce's card for me :) The inside said HERE COMES YOUR BIG BIRTHDAY HUG. Not only does this card look like him but this is something he would do.

It was Twiggy's birthday too so she came over for the day. She is four.

One of my presents because I loooove candles.

More candles :) (I am returning these though. They don't make the room smell much so I am going to take them back and get something else. I used to LOVE Yankee Candle but lately they have disappointed me)

I LOVE YODA!!! This little guy is my new friend.

My brother made this with some machine he has. It took him four hours. It is really cool and you can see the detail of his face in person but in pictures not so much.

Bruce Kittlee Master Ninja Warrior decided to get into the bag after I took the presents out.

I got this package on my birthday from my awesome nail board friend Jess. She shouldn't have but it was quite fun opening up :) THANK YOU JESS!!!! I didn't take pictures of the Reeces Pumpkins, they were yummy.

PUMPKINS!!! Love them all!!!

Pretty Flakies :)

Pretty!! I have never seen this one before, I forgot the name though, sorry.

Party Hearty!! I have wanted this one which is funny because  I didn't decide that until after I swapped mine AND found one for my friend Silke. I can't wait to use it!

Pumpkins pumpkins I love pumpkins!

Especially pumpkins filled with polish!

AND crazy girl sent me a Nic's Sticks which I could NEVER FIND!!! Silver Ella holo-y goodness.

It was a great birthday! I never have been wished happy birthday so much and I have awesome friends that were so super sweet and thought of me on my birthday! I also got tickets to the Transiberian Orchestra which I was DYING to see so that is super cool. I have the best family and friends EVER!

That's all for now :)

Quick Update

Hey Everyone!!! Sorry I have been M.I.A for the past couple days. Wednesday night I had a last minute rush chocolate order that I had to get done which took all night. It was due Friday but Thursday was my birthday and since I didn't want to be doing chocolate on my birthday I stayed up real late Wed doing them all. Today I took off of work and hung out with my son and went to see the new Three Musketeers movie. Now I am just really tired so I am going to lay on the couch for awhile and relax. I will either be back tonight or tomorrow with a new post for you guys :)

I leave you with a picture of Bruce Kittlee Master Ninja Warrior in a box just for fun.
That's all for now :)

Halloween Blood

Hey Everyone!!! I got caught up with the guitar tonight so this is a tad bit late. I was waiting for the computer since my son had to do an activity on it and the bf decided to tell me I was playing wrong. THEN he had to look it up and figure it out only to discover I was doing it mostly right and he was wrong. I LOVE it when I am right lol.

Today I have another Halloween mani for you :) I am loving these.

Today the nails are supposed to be dripping blood. I am not sure I would say they look like they are dripping but eh, what can you do.

I had some issues with the red running a bit when I put top coat on there. I ignored that because it was too late to redo it.

I added a blurry picture because it looks cool that way. I think it blurs it and makes it more drippy looking.

I used two coats of China Glaze Ghoulish Glow as the base and Essie Scarlett O Hara for the blood.

I am totally obsessed with the glow in the dark polishes right now.

I used my dotting tool to help make the blood drops which is probably why it doesn't look so much like dropping blood.

Eh, maybe next time I will try a different method. I don't know what method that will be but we will see :)

That's all for now :)

Awesome Package and Another Halloween Mani

Hey Everyone!!!! I have lots to show you today. It has been an exciting Monday!

Today I got home from work and had a package waiting for me. For me?! YES for meeeee. It was an awesome early birthday present!!!!

The amazing and wonderful Denise sent me a package.

She made this GORGEOUS pendant. I love it and can't wait to wear it, I must make a chain to wear it on. I was thinking a ribbon with some beads but I am not sure yet.

This GORGEOUS ring which is insanely pretty. I love it!

Annnnnd birthday YUMMIES!!!! OMG soooo good, soooo yummy. I am not sharing!!!

THANK YOU DENISE!!!! This was so very sweet and thoughtful of you and I want to fly out there RIGHT NOW and hug you!!! Maybe chase the rooster around with the broom too just for fun lol.

I have met so many awesome, wonderful, sweet people through blogging and the nail polish community and I love you all and am so grateful for you all :)

I ALSO have a mani to show you today. It is not as exciting as my package though. Umm, that just doesn't sound right. ANYWAY!

For this mani I used two of my pumpkins. I used Burt (the Glow in the Dark orange polish) as the base. I only used two coats for this mani. I used Ronald (the chunky orange glitter) on top. I used just one coat of Ronald. It was a bit thick but there was a lot of glitter in that one coat. It was getting a bit difficult when all the glitter wanted to group together but I spread it out with the brush.

Now comes the disaster part. BM13. I got this plate with my Shany plates order off of Amazon long ago. I never used this plate because Halloween hadn't come up yet. WELL let me just say it is a pain in the butt! The  spiderwebs do not transfer. If I am lucky I can get a portion of the web but it is a small portion. The spiders look like ticks. Not cool.

I did alternating nails with spiders, the witch and bats.

The bats were ok but the other designs gave me issues. I really didn't want ticks on my nails.

I used Sinful Colors Nail Art stripers for the black images. I hated this mani but it did glow in the dark.

I also wanted to show you my insanity. I had ALL of these polishes in the bag I carry to work.

Some of them (the first four) and one of the two not pictured are for friends. My bag was pretty heavy too. I can't imagine why. :/

That's all for now :)

Such a Devil

Hey Everyone!!! How is everyone's weekend going? Mine has been ok so far. Today I made some pumpkin bread which I loooooove. I am impatiently waiting for it to cool down so I can have some. For some reason I do not like the bread when it is warm but when it is cool OH YES!!

Yesterday was not such a good day. I was suppose to meet one of the other parents to transfer some stuff for the band boosters at 10 am. I was there at 9:40 to make sure I didn't miss him. Mind you, I have never met this man before so I was already not thrilled with the scenario. I stood outside the bank for AN HOUR AND TWENTY MINUTES and the dude never showed up. I was quite livid and am still pretty annoyed with the situation. I will say though, there are a lot of weird looking characters that hang out in that plaza. I HATE people that flake out like that. I could go off about the whole thing but really I do not want to relive the anger. I headed over to the kennel after that and played with some doggies so it was ok.

So today I have some Halloween nails for you. Well, they aren't super Halloween but since devils kind of go with Halloween it works. In my mind anyway. I used Orly Fifty Four as a base but you can't even tell so we will ignore that fact. I used the red glitter polish I got in a Color Club set that was mislabeled so we will just call it the unknown red Color Club glitter. I also used these cute devil heart decals I got from LuckyStarStyle

I did a gradient with a sponge and it came out pretty good I think. I usually don't use sponges so this was a good experiment.

I really like the decals and didn't have any issue with these. I also waited until the next morning to put the decal on so that helped.

I actually really liked these nails. The bf did not. He doesn't like glitter to begin with and I forget what he said about them but it wasn't favorable.

I also really like the look of the decal on a more natural looking nail.

And here is my little ducky that lives in my car. He is my driving buddy.

That's all for now :)
