14 Days of Valentines Day 3

It's me again! Today is Superbowl Sunday and as you know I am a huge football fanatic!! I HAD to do a football mani for today and since I LOVE football I am just going to call it a Valentine's Day mani. I entered Llarowe's  Superbowl Mani contest with these nails. I hope they are good enough.

I used a variety of different polishes in Ravens colors of Black, Purple, Gold and White and 49er colors of Scarlet Red, Gold and White. Most of it was hand done but I did stamp the footballs and the helmet.

I used Cheeky plate CH35 for the stamping.

Please excuse the random hair and lack of cleanup. This mani took me longer than planned so I was rushing to get the pictures done before the deadline.

For the Ravens I did a black nail with purple stripe like their helmet has on it. I did the Lombardi trophy on a black and purple background. The Baltimore B on gold and the Baltimore logo on my pinkie.

This little guy was NOT  easy to paint. He looks better from afar.

It is NOT easy to do this stuff left handed, especially letters.

For the 49ers I did their logo on my index finger. I did the Lombardi trophy over red polish. My ring finger has the stripe similar to that on their helmet. I couldn't think of what else to do so I stamped a red helmet on a gold nail with a red border. I don't like that nail as much as the others. I was running out of time and ideas though.

This also looks way better from far. The nail is red with a gold border.

I love the Ravens hand. I am pretty proud of myself and even though the 49ers hand isn't as awesome as I wanted I did it left handed and it is pretty decent considering.

I hope if you are watching the game tonight you enjoy it!!!

That's all for now :)

  1. Looks great! You did really well on the SF mani with your non dominant hand!

    1. Thanks :) I was surprised I did as well as I did using that hand. I am glad I decided NOT to do the Ravens with that hand though. The bird would have probably looked like a mutant.

  2. The Mani is cool but I would NEVER call this a Saint Valentine manicure... sorry! ;-)

Wow, it has taken me a year to figure out how to write this here! I love comments! I read them all and try to respond as quickly as I can. Thank you for reading and commenting!
