Glowing Ghosts

Hey Everyone!!! It is raining here again! We went up to the mall to have Subway for dinner and got stuck in a major downpour. We were drenched by the time we got to the car and even more so when we got inside the house. If it wasn't for the lightning I would have run around in the rain a bit. They were nice fat rain drops, the kind that get you soaked really quick but are fun to play in. Oh well, my son had homework to do anyway.

Today I have a fun mani for you. I actually don't really want to take it off I was having so much fun with it.

I used one coat of Misa Never Say Never as a base coat.

I put two coats of Fantasy Makers Glow in the dark over top of the Misa.

I used Jesse's Girl Blackout and one of my dotting tools to draw the Ghost faces on there.

This one had some smearing when I put the top coat on. This was totally my fault as I was trying to rush because it was bed time already.

I think they came out really cute and they were really easy to do.

AND they glowed really well. I kept playing with my hands in the dark waving them around and such. It was really fun. I am quite easily amused.

They glowed a lot stronger than I could catch on camera :( I also didn't have time to stand there and hold them under the light.

They look really cool when they are glowing though. I will say the glow is stronger than these pictures but not OH MY GOSH THAT IS AMAZING strong. I will do a comparison between the few glow in the darks that I have at some point. My China Glaze Ghoulish Glow was glowing a ton in the bottle last night so I am curious to see how well it does on the nail.

My son is in the don't take my picture phase. I was trying to catch him when he wasn't looking but he caught me. Little brat!

This morning Bruce Kittlee Master Ninja Warrior had to go to work with dad because we were bombing the house. Dad works at a dog kennel and Bruce was not happy about being there. He hissed at everyone he saw and was not thrilled. He spent the day in a dog crate where he could move around and was comfy and safe.

At one point when dad came back from the office he found Bruce all covered up and comfy under the covers. Poor baby. He was probably a bit scared and wanted to go home.

The dogs had ticks so while we were bombing my bear went and got a hair cut. I would show you pictures but it is too sad. She looks so crazy now, like a pot bellied pig with a possum tail and a chow furry head. We laughed so hard when we first saw her but we are trying to tell her she looks good so she doesn't get upset. She does look really cute in a funny weird sort of way. Poor bear has no fur left.

That's all for now :)

  3. The ghosts are a great idea--very creative!

And Bruce does look less than thrilled about the change in venue.
