Grin and Bare It

Hey Everyone! Don't you love technology? It has been one of those days where my computer has been on the verge of taking flying lessons all day. I also just texted my son's teacher asking him about a money order situation that was actually supposed to be sent to df instead. *FACEPALM* On the good side of technology I am in the process of setting up a Facebook page for the blog. We shall see how that goes. I am hoping it is cooperative but I won't be able to finish it until I get home tonight. Today I have for you one of the Polish Revolution colors from yesterday's post.

Yes, I know this is a Sation polish. I am not crazy. This is Sation 3 Free-dom from the 2012 Nailstock Collection.

I used 3 Free-dom as my base coat.

I thought this would go nicely as a base coat. Sation calls it a "creamy putty-taupe" but it looks pretty gray on me. It is a really pretty color and ended up being the perfect base.

The first Polish Revolution polish I had to try was Grin and Bare It from the 2013 Springing Forward Collection.

Grin and Bare It has a gorgeous milky base with copper, brown, iridescent and periwinkle glitter.

Yeah, I know, I posted two bottle shots because I LOVE THIS POLISH!

I wanted to do something different with this polish so I decided to go for a gradient. Instead of doing all my nails the same I decided to alternate the gradient scheme.

I used one coat of Grin and Bare It on my ring finger as an accent nail.

This polish blended perfectly with 3 Free-dom which made me very happy.

The sunlight didn't make me very happy. I wasn't happy with the sun shots but LOOK at that polish. I kept them in anyway because I love the color combination of Grin and Bare It and omg those iridescent glitters.

The formula was excellent. It applied itself really.

I am REALLY impressed with this polish. It was a breeze.

What amazed me even more is that I didn't need to use a coat of Gelous to smooth out the glitter. One coat of Seche Vite and this mani was smooth as can be.

How do I know have ALL of the Polish Revolution polishes already? If the rest of them are as well behaved and gorgeous as this one I am going to need them all!

Looking at these pictures is making me want to use this polish again.
