Kalahari Kiss

Hey Everyone!!!! So here we go. My nubs are ever so slowly looking better than they had. I have a few posts that I can make before I run out of pictures and am forced to show you the mutants. Hopefully they look better by then. I have a nice holo on them now so they don't make me too upset. I am DYING to show you some of the new Indie polishes I recently and not so recently received but it would be a crime if I showed them to you on these nubs. Football is FINALLY here which made me happy. I also made a Red Velvet cake from scratch this weekend for df's boss who is unfortunately leaving the kennel. It is her favorite and though I never liked Red Velvet on the two occasions that I tried it this cake was actually pretty good. I am eagerly awaiting word from him on what she thought of it. We also went to the kennel and took some pictures of the dogs for them to put up on their website. I think they came out great and hopefully they help get the dogs some attention. I think we are going to be taking more pictures next week.

Now that I have given you the news of my life lol Today's mani was the base for a few manis I did. I showed you China Glaze Kalahari Kiss from the Safari Collection stamped but here it is as a full mani.

I love this polish!

I used two coats for this mani. It actually applied really nicely and leveled out very well.

I don't know what color this is exactly. It is kinda a dead grass, sand type of color which is the perfect desert color. I was surprised I liked this one on me but I really loved it.

I tend to like the weird shades like this one and I am thrilled that it doesn't look awful against my skin though I am sure that wouldn't stop me from wearing it if I liked the color. I tend to wear what I want lol.

I really enjoyed the Safari Collection. I don't have all of them yet but I am loving the ones that I do have. Then again, I love most things China Glaze.

That's all for now :)

  1. Glad you are back! This shade is kinda interesting. I've seen it on a couple of blogs but I was sure I couldn't pull it off since my skin is so pale and cool toned. Seeing it on you makes me wonder though. I've just ordered Elephant Walk and was so sad that I'm Not Lion was out of stock. I might add this to my wishlist!

    1. THANK YOU!!! I am glad to be back. I seem to be having internet issues today which is angering me. Happy Blogiversary btw!!! I have to comment on your page later when I get home.

Oh no, I hate when things are out of stock lol. I think you could pull it off. I love the color and it doesn't look crazy on me so I think it would work on you.
