Designer De Better

Hey Everyone! I am FINALLY in a bit of a Christmas mood. I even put lights up outside. I didn't do the best job ever because I am way too short but I did put some up :) We also got a tree and put lights on that. I made some peppermint bark as well. It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas.

Tonight I caught Bruce Kittlee Master Ninja Warrior over seeing my son's homework.

Someone has to make sure he gets it done.

I thought this picture of the tree lights was pretty cool. We got these new LED lights last year on clearance which are awesome.

Today I have for you one of the OPI Muppets Collection polishes Designer De Better.

This polish is a gorgeous silver foil filled with bronze specks. I used two coats but I should have used three or two thicker coats. My right hand especially is a little thin.

I really like this polish it is nice and shiny as you can see. The flash was bouncing off this polish like crazy.

I love this polish.

You can see the nail line and you can see the streakyness. I have heard it was not fun to take off but I haven't tried yet. We will see.

It looks gold sometimes from the combination of silver and bronze I think. I also scared Bruce with these nails this morning. I don't think he was prepared for the shiny factor and I was pretending to be a monster. He was not happy with me lol.

So after I posted yesterday about how much I love my treatment and how my nails are growing I had one break. I was attacked by a razor this weekend and I thought it just nicked the top of my nail but apparently it got the side too because there is a tear there. I saved it for now with Nail Rescue but it is a tear on the side down by the quick. This morning I was scratching my head and my hair caught on my other index finger. I looked down to see a nice tear in the same place. Not cool. I am leaning toward nubbinizing. Unfortunately I don't have time to do swatch pictures to hold us over until they grow out. I am trying to decide what to do with them but I will keep posting something :)

That's all for now :)

  2. Bruce looks very serious there!

So you'll have nubs for a while--it happens.

  3. The funny part is Bruce was actually falling asleep while sitting there. I guess homework puts him to sleep too.

Yup, I am ok with nubs I think hehe My main issue is I do NOT want to file them lol I would be totally willing to pay someone to file them if I knew they would do a good job lol

  5. Lol Oh yes, Bruce is quite the helper. This morning he was helping the alarm clock with waking us up. Unfortunately it was several hours too early.
