Thanksgiving Marbles

Hey Everyone!! MERRY CHRISTMAS EVE!!! I hope everyone is enjoying the holidays, which ever one you celebrate. In a funny twist of events I have my Thanksgiving mani to show you today. I wonder if this means I will have my Christmas mani for Valentine's Day.

I couldn't decide what I wanted to do for my mani under Oopsie Daisies Apple Picking. I ordered Apple Picking JUST FOR Thanksgiving. I absolutely LOVE that polish.

Since I couldn't decide what to do I put China Glaze Call of the Wild on my index finger, China Glaze Desert Sun on my ring finger and did a water marble on the other fingers.

I used Apple Picking over everything. I love how this thumb came out.

Water marbles are so messy but this one reminded me of caramels and candy and yummy stuff.

I loved this mani. Apple Picking is an awesome polish and far exceeded my expectations. I will show it to you again soon. I love Love LOVE it!

That's all for now :)

Yummy Spice Cake

Hey Everyone! Has the world ended yet? Can I come out from my hiding space yet? lol I am almost done with my Fall manis and not even close to done with my Christmas preparations. I went to buy my boss a bottle of wine this morning, last minute of course. I don't drink so I stood in the wine aisle completely lost. I kinda just randomly picked one and hoped for the best lol. I am so not ready for Christmas yet.

Today I have a gorgeous polish from Smitten Polish to show you.

Smitten Polish Spice Cake.

I love this color so much. Super Fall like orangey polish.

There is lots of glitter in there in gold, brown and orange. I love the brown glitter!

This is a pretty yummy looking polish and makes me think of Pumpkin Bread. I don't think I have actually had Spice Cake.

I have to thin this baby a bit because it is a little too thick for my liking but I am also super picky.

My only complaint about this polish is that I didn't have any Pumpkin Bread to eat while wearing it. Come to think of it I didn't make any Pumpkin Bread this year, I might have to whip some up even if it isn't really a Christmas type treat.

That's all for now :)

The Temptress Touch

Hey Everyone!!! I about fell over last night from exhaustion lol I made and iced df's birthday cake. I made a batch of cookies for my dad's swimming with the old people Christmas party. I started to make peppermint bark but only got two done so I have more of that to make. I also have more cookies to make and I didn't get any snowmen crocheted so I have a bunch of those to do. I have so much to do in so little time. Is it vacation yet?

Today I have one of the 2012 Project Runway Loreal polishes. I don't watch Project Runway but I do like some of the polishes that come out in the Loreal collections. This one my son got me for my birthday. He saw me look at it in the store and wanted to get it for me. He had carried it around in his pocket the entire shopping trip and snuck it to the cashier while df distracted me. When df told me that story all I could think of was THANK GOD he didn't get busted for attempted shop lifting lol.

Loreal The Temptress Touch.

I love this shade, it is nice and bright!

At first I wasn't sure I really liked it on me but as the day wore on it grew on me. I actually love the color and love it on me now lol.

Ignore the glitter please, I had recvd a package and couldn't wait to try out one of the polishes.

I had forgotten I hadn't taken mani pictures yet. duh.

I love the shimmer.

That's all for now :)

Penny Talk Gets Funky!

Hey Everyone! Well, I got almost all of my Christmas stuff done. Tonight is making cookies and peppermint bark night! I also have to make a birthday cake for df who has a birthday tomorrow. The closer I get to the weekend it seems the more I have to do.

This mani was one of my favorite manis I did for Fall. I don't think it is very Fall like but I love it.

I used Essie Penny Talk for the base color. I love these Essie metallics, especially for stamping.

I then did a gradient with Dare to Wear Get Funky.

I did not realize that Get Funky actually had a orange tint to the base until I did this mani. I happen to love it even more now that I know this.

This mani was so sparkly and I love how Get Funky looks over Penny talk.

This mani chipped fast on me but I believe it was due to the Elmer's Glue basecoat rather than the actual mani.

This mani was crazy glowy.

I took far too many pictures because I loved the glow and the sparkle.

I definitely want to do this one again.

That's all for now :)

Fall Leaves

Hey Everyone! I know, I know, another Fall mani. I promise I AM doing winter/Christmas manis now and they will be up soon but I wanted to show you some of these fall colors too. My son ended up with an ear infection so that adds a great bit of fun to my week. I am counting the days until Friday which starts my vacation. I also just fell out of my chair at work. I am the only one in my office so no one saw it but it was pretty funny. My arm, neck and knee are a little sore now though. I am totally ungraceful. Onto the nails!

I used BM04 to stamp the leaf pattern.

I love copper so I used Essie Penny Talk for the leaves.

I used a coat of Oopsie Daisies Ganache over China Glaze Call of the Wild. This polish is awesome in person but my camera didn't pick it up as nicely as I hoped it would.

I used Dare to Wear Get Funky for the gradient and I also put some on the leaves after I stamped them.

Wow I used a lot of polishes for this mani lol. I used China Glaze Call of the Wild for the base color. I don't know why I don't have a bottle shot of that one.

I love the gradient nail. I don't have many pictures of this one because my cuticles were trashed and I don't want to make you suffer through looking at too much of them.

That's all for now :)

Z is for Zombies

Hey Everyone! What a manic Monday. I forgot to schedule a post so already I am behind again. Figures. I am not even near ready for Christmas. My son woke up with a fever today so things are even more exciting and I can feel the stress starting to build up and sit in my shoulders. Thank goodness I have somewhat of a vacation coming up.

Today I have a polish that I HAD to have. I am all about zombies and need ALL the zombie things. I haven't been able to get all of them but I did snag this one from Happy Hands.

Happy Hands Z is for Zombies. Kristi recently changed her bottles and labels and they have such a cute vibe going now. I love the new look.

Z is for Zombies is what I think of as a guacamole green and the coolest part about this polish is the red glitter shards. I quite enjoy it and it totally reminds me of zombies.

I can't remember if I used two or three coats for this mani.

It applies great and my pictures and nails don't do it justice.

I am going to redo this mani soon so I can show it to you on nicer nails. I will use any excuse to wear zombie polish lol

I love the color of this polish.

Z is for Zombies was part of the Ready for Fall collection. It is going to be perfect for February when The Walking Dead starts airing again.

Thats all for now :)

I'm Back and I have Candy Corn!

Hey Everyone!!!! I am back!!! I am going to be back in a limited capacity until January. I am going to post and show you manis but they will probably be quick posts. It is so crazy and I haven't even started Christmas stuff yet. Tonight is my son's Winter Band Concert which I am looking forward to. I have a bunch of Fall manis to show you to catch up. Several of them are old when my nails were freshly nubbed and my cuticles were awful. Please excuse that. I did blur some of the cuticle issues on a few pictures just to spare your poor eyes lol.

I am super excited to be back!!! I am still reading your blogs but I am not able to comment on several of them at work. I might have to install Google Chrome while my boss is out of town so I can comment again lol.

Today I have one of my Halloween manis. I know it is December but I still LOVE this one. I used Wet N Wild Poison Ivy as the base and Girly Bits Candy Corn.

I really like the deep shimmery Emerald green that is Poison Ivy. I wanted my car to be that exact color when I was a kid. I still love the color and the polish is great. The first coat is thin and doesn't look very pretty at all but with two coats it is perfect.

I flipped out over Candy Corn inspired nail polishes this Halloween. I wanted all of them. I ended up only buying two and this is one of them. I LOVE this polish. It really makes me want candy corn.

I loved this mani and wore it for a couple of days. I didn't get around to taking pictures right away so you can see the chipping lol

I want to wear Candy Corn again I love it so much. I love those yellow glitters. For some reason I am all about the yellow glitter lately.

That's all for now :)
