Elevation Epidote

Hey Everyone! Is it Friday yet? I didn't end up making my pumpkin bread last night so I am hoping to do that tonight. I have been saying I was going to make some pumpkin bread for about three weeks now and I have yet to make any. I did get my weird bed wedge pillow thing in the mail last night. Let me just say that was one of the most interesting packing jobs I have ever seen for a product. I wish I would have taken a picture. The thing came in a box about half the size of the pillow and the pillow was in a roll shape. I thought for sure they sent me the wrong item until I freed it from the plastic wrap and read the instructions. The wrapping told me to free the pillow from the wrapping immediately and wait for it to regain it's shape. Sure enough as soon as it was free it started to puff up again. So weird. I am still on the fence with the pillow. I didn't sleep really well but I didn't have many issues with my stomach either. I am hoping that I get used to sleeping in such a weird position and that I don't fall off the pillow and give myself a black eye.

Today I have one of the awesome Elevation Polishes that was released recently. I actually have more pictures of this polish after I did an accent nail however they aren't edited yet. Since this is the last post I have  ready I figured I would get it up instead of waiting until I get home tonight when I may or may not actually get to post it. I might add those pictures later.

This is three coats of Elevation Polish Epidote from the Stones Throw Collection.

Epidote is a gorgeous olive green holo polish. I love green. I love olives.

The sun was not really cooperative the day I was taking these pictures.

The application was great and the polish is really very pretty. I was trying very hard to get the sun to come out and play so I could get more sun shots.

I jumped on this polish as soon as it was released and I was not disappointed when it finally arrived.

Look, it matches my car!

I actually made a pair of earrings with this polish because it is so gorgeous I need to be able to wear it often. I want a sweater this color!

That's all for now :)

OPI Eurso Euro and Elevation Haungshan

Hey Everyone!! I tried to get this posted Monday but never made it lol Yesterday was a complete loss as far as being productive. My son had a bad earache in the middle of the night so I woke up exhausted then after my doctor appointment rushed him to his doctor. Turns out there is nothing wrong with his ear currently. No infection or anything which is perplexing considering he is still in pain. Best thing the doctor can think of is that he had compacted ear wax that we were able to get out before we got to the doctor. I don't know but the poor kid is still complaining about pain and I feel bad not being able to fix it.

Today's blue mani is

I started with a base of OPI Eurso Euro from the Spring 2013 Euro Centrale collection. I did a glitter gradient with Elevation Polish Huangshan 2013 View From the Top Collection.

I loved love loved this mani. OPI Eurso Euro is a gorgeous blue creme and although the name is stupid the color is so pretty. This is another polish that I want to use again and again. It is probably similar to many other polishes but I still love it.

Elevation Huangshan is so fun!!! I can't spell it to save my life and have to keep looking back to make sure it is right but the polish is sooo cool. It is a mix of highlighter yellow glitter and iridescent glitter. DO YOU SEE THE CIRCLE GLITTER?! Omg I love circle glitter and I love neon and this one has NEON CIRCLE GLITTER!! That is definitely something to excitedly yell about!!! There is one small side note to Huangshan stating that the color of the small neon glitter will bleed slightly and tint the base. The color should remain bright but the base will be slightly tinted after time. Um, NEON CIRCLE GLITTER!! The awesomeness of this polish far outweighs the side note on this one in my book.

I love these two polishes and they look pretty cool together. My index finger nail broke on my left hand so I attempted to try a new shape when I filed them. Do not like! I hate filing as it is and I wasn't thrilled with the results. I ended up leaving my right hand squared and you will be seeing mostly just my right hand for awhile.

That's all for now :)

Elevation Polish Liana

Hey Everyone!!! Work is so slow I figured what better time to start my post! I think we are going to get to leave early today so at least that is good news. I am debating going to the nail supply store if we get out early. I guess it depends how early lol I am definitely going to hit Walgreens on the way home to see if they have any new Sinful Colors displays lol Cheap thrills are always fun.

Today I have an awesome polish for you. I debated on buying this one when I heard it was being retired then I saw some swatches and HAD to have it. I am so glad I did!!!

Elevation Polish Liana. Look at that shimmer!!!

I took a ton of pictures of this polish and bottle because it is gorgeous. I also happened to catch the shimmer showing itself really strongly.

Liana is a really gorgeous light brown (taupe) with the pretty shimmer you see above. This baby shimmers red, gold and green!! It is far prettier in person than these pictures could ever show.

Df described this color as chocolate pudding with water in it. It is such a creamy chocolate yummy color. Yes, I want chocolate right now!! lol

I used three coats to make sure my Gelish mani was covered and because I was quite frazzled and stressed over my car overheating that day. My application was less than perfect.

Purdy shimmer.

Now mid way through the mani we decided to go get my car which was stranded in a parking lot. I filled a couple of jugs with water then went to go put it in the car to bring it home. In the process messed up my nails.

It wasn't a good mani night.

The polish was so pretty it makes up for the errors.

I love this color. It seems to still be in stock so if you want to get it I would do it fast before it is gone forever.

Sorry, had to cut this a little short. The boss just gave the go ahead to head home and I need to get moving before he changes his mind lol. It has happened before lol

That's all for now :)

14 Days of Valentines Days 7&8

Hey Everyone!! I decided to post these two manis together since they are a duo. I have to apologize for the state of my cuticles and nails in these photos. My right hand nails decided to break while I was wearing this mani. I tried to take pictures of them and there was no sun so the pictures didn't come out as nice as I wanted them too. I am going to take better pictures and give this duo the post that it deserves as soon as possible. I was touched to receive these polishes as a very kind gift from a very awesome person so I feel even worse that the pictures are not as nice as I wanted them to be. I will try again after Valentine's Day to do a better mani with these polishes.

For Valentine's Day two Indie polish brands joined up to create this duo. It is the Elevation Pahlish duo created by the awesome ladies behind Elevation Polish and Pahlish. This was my first experience with Elevation polish but I do have two more to show you soon.

Elevation Pahlish in Mount Carmel and Coral Pink Sand Dunes.

Mount Carmel is a gorgeous milk chocolaty base with pink and gold glass fleck shimmer in it.

I LOVE the glass fleck in this polish. It is so pretty.

The pink, gold and brown combination is stunning together.

The sun was going down so my sunlight was limited when I was taking these.

I love brown polish and this one is really pretty.

I topped it with Coral Pink Sand Dunes after wearing it for a day.

Coral Pink Sand Dunes is a gorgeous glitter topper. It is a clear base with pink and gold shimmer as well as hex glitter in brown and copper. There is also micro glitter in rose and gold and CIRCLE glitter in rose. OMG I LOVE CIRCLE GLITTER! As if that was not jam packed with glitter there are gold holo squares in there too. It is amazing!

The day that I was taking these pictures it was going to rain so I ran out and took the pictures without topcoat. I had very little sun too. It wasn't a great day for taking pictures.

I love this duo so much.

It is a great duo and I love the colors and omg that circle glitter is awesome.

I can't wait to wear this duo again!! I also can't wait to try the other Elevation polishes I ordered!

That's all for now :)
