Some Halloween Manis

Hey Everyone!! HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!

This is a quickie to show you some of my recent Halloween manis. I am actually writing this Sunday night and scheduling it for Monday Morning. None of these are my actual Halloween nails though. :)

CANDY CORN!!!! I bought three bags of candy corn because my son ate the first bag before I could do my nails. I got the second two because they were on sale lol. I did these in the car so they are not as crisp as I would have liked but they were still cute.

I really liked them and topped them with China Glaze Ghoulish Glow so they were Glow in the Dark which is even better.

These were some Glow in the Dark Ghosts. I know I did this design before but I needed something quick that night. I kept these on for two days because I had a last minute chocolate order and it kept me up really late and unable to change my polish. If I posted these already smack me upside the head because I have forgotten.

It is getting late and I am rushing so please forgive me. I will have a better post for you later :)

This was one of the Fantasy Makers Tombstones in Black Magic. Two coats.

It is prettier in person than these pictures show.

Once again sorry about the cleanup, it was a quick polish job. It has been a crazy few days but things are settling back down so I should be back on track.

That's all for now :)

Electric Jack O Lanterns

Hey Everyone!! Hope everyone's Wednesday was Wonderful! It is a bit closer to Friday so I am happy with it. We have a thief in the house now. The bf left $11 on top of the XBox which is on top of our dresser. It was a ten dollar bill and a one dollar bill crumpled up together. Mr. Bruce Kittlee Master Ninja Warrior was up on the XBox with the money in his mouth when the bf told him to leave it alone and get down. Next thing you know Mr. Bruce took the money and ran under the bed. He hid it under there somewhere and came out without it. His ninja training apparently now includes the arts of stealing and hiding the goods.

Today I saw the Walgreens Exclusive Wet N Wild Limited Edition Ice Baby display.

It features 8 glitter shades. The bottles are only .34oz so they are somewhat small and $2.99 each. The glitters are pretty but nothing so spectacular that I bought any of them. I might go back though, one can never tell. If they were cheaper, say, $1.99 I probably would have snagged them without even hesitating but I am trying to save my monies for the China Glaze Holiday polishes.

Today I have for you a Jack O Lantern mani attempt. I am not overly happy with it but considering I did it all free hand I guess it isn't too bad. I used one coat of P2 Electric as the base. I used the Sinful Colors black nail art polish to paint the faces then used my Fantasy Makers Glow in the Dark over the black which is why it looks weird. My son said it looked green.

I put Seche Vite over everything which of course smeared some of it a bit.

It is cute though because the faces Glow in the Dark which of course I couldn't get to show up on camera. I tried repeatedly too.

It was cute but I wasn't totally loving it. Hopefully tomorrow's is better :)

That's all for now :)

Not Quite Stellar Manis

Hey Everyone!!!! It was an awful football weekend and I am watching Monday Night Football which has me torn. I hate the Miami Dolphins but I also hate the NY Jets so either way this game is going to annoy me. It should be fun.

Today I have two manis for you because I didn't really think either were good enough to post. I figure if I give you two ehhh manis it might equal one not awful mani. I also have a Bruce Kittlee Master Ninja Warrior picture to make up for the sub par manis.

That is Bruce attacking Newey. You can see she had a hair cut and has no bear hair anymore. She looks silly but cute at the same time.

Ok, I tried to do a fall/Halloween mani. I used China Glaze Westside Warrior as the base and Fantasy Makers Glow in the Dark, Orly It's not Rocket Science and Del Sol Trick or Treat for the dots.

It wasn't awful but not great either.

Then there was the right hand that totally got messed up when I went to sleep? I assume this happened while I slept because it was fine before I went to sleep. It should have been dry and my left hand was fine so I have no idea.

It didn't look too nice though.

Then there is my Zombie Mani. I used plate M13. The bf said they look like dolls not zombies. I said they were zombie dolls.

I used three coats of Orly It's Not Rocket Science as the base and Jesse's Girl Blackout for the zombies. You can barely see them. I tried stamping in a lighter color on my pinkie but it didn't do much so I didn't proceed with all fingers.

Fail. No Zombies visible.

I will have to try this again with a different color combination.

That's all for now :)

Crush and Skulls

Hey Everyone!!! I had such a bad day today. I didn't sleep well last night at all after the bf found a dying but still alive tick. We bombed the house to get rid of the buggers and had the dogs bathed and treated but that one stupid tick kept me up all night. I kept thinking things were crawling on me. That and Mr. Bruce Kittlee Master Ninja Warrior had been on the window and moved the curtain so every time I rolled over to face the window there was a sliver of light in my face. I prefer the dark and definitely prefer light not being in my face so it was a long night. Today I had an awful day at work too and now I just watched Detroit lose ANOTHER game in extra innings. Is it Friday yet? I reallllly reallllly can't wait for Friday.

Today I have my Skull mani for you.

I used two coats of Jesse's Girl Crush.

You can't see it but I stamped the dripping blood behind the skulls. They don't glow and you can't see them so basically it was pointless. I used the Fantasy Makers Glow in the Dark for that and Jesse's Girl Blackout for the skulls.

I used my Konad M13 plate again. I love this plate!

I had some issues with the stamping but that was totally user error. I don't know what my issue was but it was like I was having an issue rolling the stamp to transfer all of the head. It only happened on my smaller fingers too. It was just one of those days.

The bf couldn't tell they were skulls the first time I showed him. Ummm? ok. My brother loved them though. I thought they were pretty cute myself lol.

I thought about doing a glow in the dark skull stamp behind the black one but I am glad I didn't since the blood drips aren't visible.

Over all it was a moderate success. I have another skull mani idea so I will try again and hopefully all my skulls will come out.

My brother brought home this box for Mr. Bruce. It is filled with paper and he enjoys hiding in there. It was quite funny when my brother buried him in paper then stuck his head closer to the box to look for Bruce only to have him jump at his face. It was quite humorous.

That's all for now :)

Glowing Ghosts

Hey Everyone!!! It is raining here again! We went up to the mall to have Subway for dinner and got stuck in a major downpour. We were drenched by the time we got to the car and even more so when we got inside the house. If it wasn't for the lightning I would have run around in the rain a bit. They were nice fat rain drops, the kind that get you soaked really quick but are fun to play in. Oh well, my son had homework to do anyway.

Today I have a fun mani for you. I actually don't really want to take it off I was having so much fun with it.

I used one coat of Misa Never Say Never as a base coat.

I put two coats of Fantasy Makers Glow in the dark over top of the Misa.

I used Jesse's Girl Blackout and one of my dotting tools to draw the Ghost faces on there.

This one had some smearing when I put the top coat on. This was totally my fault as I was trying to rush because it was bed time already.

I think they came out really cute and they were really easy to do.

AND they glowed really well. I kept playing with my hands in the dark waving them around and such. It was really fun. I am quite easily amused.

They glowed a lot stronger than I could catch on camera :( I also didn't have time to stand there and hold them under the light.

They look really cool when they are glowing though. I will say the glow is stronger than these pictures but not OH MY GOSH THAT IS AMAZING strong. I will do a comparison between the few glow in the darks that I have at some point. My China Glaze Ghoulish Glow was glowing a ton in the bottle last night so I am curious to see how well it does on the nail.

My son is in the don't take my picture phase. I was trying to catch him when he wasn't looking but he caught me. Little brat!

This morning Bruce Kittlee Master Ninja Warrior had to go to work with dad because we were bombing the house. Dad works at a dog kennel and Bruce was not happy about being there. He hissed at everyone he saw and was not thrilled. He spent the day in a dog crate where he could move around and was comfy and safe.

At one point when dad came back from the office he found Bruce all covered up and comfy under the covers. Poor baby. He was probably a bit scared and wanted to go home.

The dogs had ticks so while we were bombing my bear went and got a hair cut. I would show you pictures but it is too sad. She looks so crazy now, like a pot bellied pig with a possum tail and a chow furry head. We laughed so hard when we first saw her but we are trying to tell her she looks good so she doesn't get upset. She does look really cute in a funny weird sort of way. Poor bear has no fur left.

That's all for now :)
