Oopsie Daisies: For Thy Sisters

Hey Everyone!!! Ok, lets see how long it takes me to actually get this whole post written. I am doing my inside job and working out in the warehouse today so it has been hectic. At least yesterday I had an easy day to start the week. Today though, I have already done 6 orders and it is really quite sauna like out in that warehouse. So very hot. I need some ice cold water but I have to pace myself because I don't have very much left in my pitcher in the fridge. I refuse to drink warm tap water.

I am super crazy excited to have a review of the Halloween Trio from Oopsie Daisies for you starting today. These were provided to me for review. The Trio is called the Sanderson Sisters and is based on the movie Hocus Pocus. I think I may have seen that movie once many moons ago but I really don't recall. I think I am going to have to check it out this year.

The Sanderson Sisters Trio: For Thy Sisters, I'll Take Thee Away and Witchcraft.

First up we have For Thy Sisters. This polish is inspired by the character Mary Sanderson.

For Thy Sisters is a darkened red jelly base that is jam packed with holo square glitter and various sizes and finishes of red and silver glitter. Jam packed and jam like. This polish reminded me of squishy berry jam. I say jelly base on this one and think of real jelly.

I took eight million pictures of this polish. It is really quite pretty and those holo glitters are amazing when they catch the light.

I was so excited to review these polishes because they are Halloween, based on witches, from one of my absolute favorite indie brands and makers. I was also stoked because I thought my new nail shape would be awesome with these polishes.

I used three coats for this mani. I did the first one very thin. I think I might have gone too thin on the first one. The second and third brought it all together making it look crazy awesome.

Application was great and the glitter payoff was awesome. I didn't have to fish or place any glitter. I pretty much have issues with jelly polishes and creating an even finish on the whole nail but it wasn't too bad with this one. You can see I was a little more heavy handed on some fingers and the polish looks a little darker. I should practice my jelly application skills more.

It was pretty hard to capture how sparkly and awesome this polish is in the sunlight.

I love silver or white glitter in a colored jelly base. It looks so cool.

In door shots don't do this justice either. Trust me it is completely awesome.

I wore this for a couple of days since I was so busy with T and his project and didn't have the time or energy to change my polish. It held up so well with all the crazy project stuff.

I really do want to eat the polish. It might be because I am so hungry but the polish does look yummy.

Shade shots because I can.

I couldn't stop taking pictures of this mani, seriously it was crazy.

I didn't even use all of the pictures I took. I need to be stopped.

Since I see people turn their glitters matte and I always love it I had to try it with this one. Oh yes, I very much like it matte.

For Thy Sisters can be found at Oopsie Daisies etsy shop. They are currently in stock and $8.50 each. I will have the next two polishes in the trio in the next couple of days.

That's all for now :)
