Hey Everyone!! My family is making fun of me because I like to shop and add polishes to my cart but don't actually check out. I think it is perfectly normal, I have to see what my total would be with shipping and how else am I going to do that? lol Ah well, I usually don't end up buying the polish because it is not in the budget which I guess is the weird part. Oops dinner is here so I better speed this up.
Tonight I have a mani for you that was much more gorgeous in real life. The pictures aren't even close to doing it justice.
I started with a base of Essie Marshmallow. It took 3 coats on most nails and four coats on some nails to make this one work for me. I am getting better with jelly polishes but I don't have the touch yet.
I then layered one coat of Girly Bits January Morning over top.
The gorgeous shimmer of this polish did not want to show up well in my pictures but trust me when I say that this polish has a gorgeous pink and blue flash to it.
I took so many pictures trying to find a good angle to show how pretty it is.
It looks like the pretty shimmery, sparkly snow that I like. The snow that is around before it gets dirty and nasty and freezes your car doors shut stranding you over an hour from home in a blizzard.
If you look REALLY hard you can see that I tried to stamp a lace pattern on my nails before I used January Morning. It barely showed, especially in the pictures. It was a good idea but it just didn't come out the way I planned. There is a lot of that going on lately.
This polish is gorgeous. I am going to have to wear it again soon so I can take better pictures. I actually really just want to wear it again too lol.
That's all for now :)
Very pretty! I definitely like that kind of snow. Not the one that makes you break your back while shoveling the mountains from around your car lol.
ReplyDeleteThanks :) YES the nice kind of snow is so much better than the back breaking snow. It was around 80 degrees today, I think Winter has skipped us this year.
