Party Hearty but Don't Touch My Tutu

Hey Everyone!!! It is me again!! I realized that this mani only has about four pictures so I mind as well get it posted. I don't want to do a ton of Christmas manis after the New Year so I will get this one up today.

Oddly when China Glaze Party Hearty came out I wasn't interested in it. I had a bottle and I think I swapped it away. Then I found another bottle on clearance at Ulta and bought it for a friend in Holland. After they were all gone and months had passed I realized I am a moron and I needed that polish. I, of course, was unable to find it after that and refused to resort to the outrageous prices on ebay. I have never gone dusty hunting before and probably never will. I am too big a chicken. My much bolder friend who isn't afraid to dusty hunt actually found this bottle and sent it to me in one of our first package exchanges. She is an angel and I have to wear it at least once every Christmas now.

This year I decided to do a glitter sandwich of OPI Don't Touch My Tutu and Party Hearty.

I ended off with Party Hearty on top so that the glitter was nice and blingy.

This mani reminds me of a sugar cookie or something edible.

I wore this mani on the drive over to get H for Christmas break. It was sunny, as you can see, and I loved seeing the sparkle and festive awesomeness that is Party Hearty.

That's all for now :)

Mosaic Christmas Candy Canes

Hey Everyone!!! I can't believe the year is almost over. I have no idea where the time goes.

Today I have a candy cane mani that I did for the holidays.

I used some of my holiday polishes from Mosaic Lacquer for this mani. I tried to use as many holiday polishes as possible this year.

I used three coats of Red Ribbon and three coats of Glittering Garland.

I wasn't sure what exactly to stamp over this polish with then finally decided to make them Candy Canes. Amazingly I didn't have a single candy cane this year.

I used Bundle Monster plate BM-423 for the stripes.

I was attempting to use my new rectangle squishy stamper so my lines aren't exactly perfect. There must be a bit of a learning curve for that stamper because I haven't mastered it yet.

I liked the glittery sparkle these polishes have.

This mani made me feel pretty festive.

I really need to work with that stamper more, I see far too many errors.

Almost every polish I have reached for this holiday season has been a glitter. I am loving glitter right now.

That's all for now :)

Blue Christmas

Merry Christmas Everyone!! Well, it is after Christmas so I hope you had a Merry Christmas. Today my boss let us leave early. Even more shocking was that we don't have to show up tomorrow either. Monday we will probably leave early too if it is as slow as it has been. Let's hope. I am so excited to be off tomorrow. Hopefully tomorrow he remembers that he told us not to come in. I believe there was wine involved with that decision.

I am going to post lots of pictures but probably not write a whole lot for the rest of the year. I want to get the holiday manis posted but I am also just being holiday lazy too.

Today I have for you the gorgeous CrowsToes Blue Christmas from the 2012 Crowsmas collection. It is a gorgeous glitter.

I used three coats over China Glaze So Blue Without You from their 2013 Happy Holiglaze Collection.

I loved this polish so much I did the mani twice since the first time I got major chipping really quickly.

I have been having a base coat and shrinkage problem lately. I can't tell if it is due to my nails being bendy and peely or the base coat.

I wanted to change it up a bit do I did my tips with Zoya Trixie.

I immediately regretted doing my tips. I didn't like how it came out. I attempted three different manis using Blue Christmas as a base and didn't like any of them. I stopped trying to redo them after doing these tips because I realized I just wasn't going to win.

I can not get this polish to photograph as awesome as it looks in person. Trust me, it is even prettier in person.

That's all for now :)

Zombie Deer

Hey Everyone! I am so behind. Last night was T's Christmas concert. It took far longer than anticipated and was the most unorganized school event I have ever seen. I feel so bad for him because he was very disappointed in the performance. I have a nice little email I am sending off to his teacher voicing my concerns about the situation. Wouldn't you know that the man's email address isn't anywhere on the school website. I am getting more annoyed over the whole situation by the minute. Hopefully I can find the email address at home on the paperwork we got at open house.

Today I have a nice holiday mani for you. I have a bunch of these coming up. I am trying to do as many as possible before Christmas but honestly I don't want to take the one I have on right now off. It is so sparkly.

I used three coats of Polish Revolution Zombie Christmas for the base of this mani. I love me some zombies and absolutely love this polish. Very festive and cute. The formula was great and it has a zombie name.

I wanted to do something different so I used tape to do my tips. They aren't all centered because I am not that great with tape. I like it for the most part.

I used Zoya Pixie Dust Chyna for the tips. I top coated my index and pinkie but left the ring finger textured. I like it both ways. I love this one too which is odd because I usually don't love reds. This is probably my favorite red polish though.

Here is a quick shot of Zombie Christmas for you to enjoy.

I used Bundle Monster plate BM-H01 for the little deer image. I am loving their Holiday set and all the festive images. I might even do a New Years Eve mani now.

That's all for now :)

Sinful Ornaments

Hey Everyone!! I am so glad it is Friday but I really can't wait to get the heck out of here. I am actually quite irate over a situation right now so I am not going to be too chatty.

I picked these two polishes up from Walgreens in one of their holiday displays. I can't remember which one but I am guessing it wasn't the one they belonged to anyway.

I used Sinful Colors Red Eye as the base. Red Eye is red, obviously, but it isn't the true red that I was wanting. It is still pretty though. I believe I used three coats.

I stamped with Sinful Colors Gold Medal which is obviously gold. The names pretty much say it all. This one worked great for stamping which is good because that is why I bought it.

I used Bundle Monster plate BM-H03 to stamp the ornament pattern.

I am really wanting to make an ornament wreath, speaking of ornaments. I might have to buy a bunch after Christmas and save them to make one next year. We don't even have a tree yet. I am lacking spirit, especially today.

That's all for now :)

Darling Diva Glacier

Hey Everyone!! Is it Friday yet? I wish! I am making a couple new pair of polish earrings today. I made two pendants the other day however somehow I lost one in the car. The box that the cabs were sitting on slid in the car and everything toppled over. I have pretty much looked everywhere and I can't find one of them. Sadly that was the one I made for a friend too. I guess I will have to make it over again. Today we are having computer issues at work. It is going to be a long day.

I have an insanely gorgeous polish for you today. I purchased this bad boy because it was on sale and at the time there was a special where you would get a free polish with purchase. I can't believe I didn't know about this polish before. It is stunning.

Darling Diva Glacier. Look at that baby shine. Glacier is a pretty soft, ice like blue holographic polish. Not only is it holo but there is also small iridescent glitter in there to give it an extra bit of oomph.

I used three coats for this mani. It is stunning in the light. I actually didn't realize quite how holo this polish is until I went out to lunch and caught sight of it in the sun. It was actually quite distracting while driving.

Such a pretty blue with such a gorgeous holo and sparkle.

The little yellowish spots you see on the nail in some of these pictures is the way the camera picked up the iridescent glitter. You can't see it in person but I noticed they came through that way in the pictures.

The glitter really gives this polish an extra wow factor, not that it needed it but it definitely is cool.

I am so glad I picked this one out on a whim and didn't miss it. Such a gorgeous polish.

I was planning on stamping over it with some snowflakes but I couldn't bring myself to cover it up.

You can see the glitter more in these shade pictures. I really like the addition of iridescent glitter. I would have never thought of that.

Darling Diva has some awesome polishes. I actually have two more on the way to me now. I can't get enough. She has some awesome holos that I have my eye on right now too.

Definitely a nice wintery polish and the name Glacier is perfect.

This one is blurry but you can see the pretty rainbows.

That's all for now :)

Mountain High with Snowflakes and Trees

Hey Everyone!!! So we are idiots and decided to start a new diet yesterday. Yes, right before Christmas. This should be a challenge. I did not have a very good day yesterday. I believe it was probably due to no sugar but I had a horrible headache and just felt pretty bad overall. Today is much better, so far. I am already tired of eggs for breakfast though.

Today I have my second mani with Wet N Wild Mountain High.

I used three coats of Mountain High for the base. Have I mentioned I love this color? I ended up doing each had with a different stamping on it. I actually did the trees first but didn't love them so I did snowflakes on the other hand. I wasn't in love with this mani, only the base color.

I used China Glaze So Blue without You from the Happy HoliGlaze Collection and Bundle Monster plate BM-H02 from the Holiday collection to stamp the snowflakes.

I liked this hand much better than the tree hand. The snowflakes stamped a little lighter than I would have liked but it was still wintery and pretty.

I used my green striping polish and the same plate for the trees. It was hard to tell they were trees. I wasn't thrilled with the outcome of this one at all. Perhaps with a darker green it would have looked better.

This was actually the second green I tried and neither stamped dark enough.

At least in this picture you can kind of tell they are trees.

This is the pretty Mountain High all by itself. I love it.

That's all for now :)
